New album ‘That Kind of Woman’

coming MAY 2025

Amanda Bjorn is an American singer-songwriter based between Los Angeles and Spain. Her debut album "That Kind of Woman" is set to release in early 2025. With a soulful blend of roots and folk, the new album reads like a diary touching on major life changes in the artist’s life — balancing motherhood with artistry, finding and losing herself within relationships, postpartum mental health, and the transformation that happens from living abroad and returning home.
With the help of her old friend, producer Aaron Stern, she recorded the album over the summer of 2024 in Los Angeles at Verdugo Sound. A collection of eleven songs with contributions from some very talented musicians: Phillip Krohnengold (Madison Cunningham), Michael Villiers (Curtis Harding), Stephen Musselman (Shaboozey), Liane Skoda (Cyrus), and Laura Mace (Foo Fighters). With the band performing live together in the same room for most of the album, the aim was to capture the magic of improvisation and the authentic musical energy that arises from truly listening and connecting, free from a click track.
Over the last few years, Bjorn has released several singles including "Love is All that Matters", produced by Isa Machine  from Florence and the Machine and "Come Back to Me" recorded and produced in Nashville with Bill Reynolds from Band of Horses. She recently got back from a tour in Spain + France supporting Curtis Harding and is currently planning more tour dates in both LA and Europe in the winter alongside the release of the album.
